Sailing from Sydney, or stepping off a ship with a night to fill? The Urban Newtown sits between both cruise terminals, around 15 minutes by car to White Bay, or a 15 minute train to Circular Quay Station, a two minute walk from the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Sydney has two cruise terminals on opposite sides of the harbour, and most hotels are handy to one or the other. Newtown sits between them, so you can book before you know which berth your ship has been given.
Embarkation days start slowly and finish in a rush. Disembarkation is the reverse. A self-contained room a short train ride from the harbour handles both better than a room in the middle of it.
Every room is fully self-contained, whether it's one night before you sail or a few days either side of the cruise.
Full kitchen. Fast free Wi-Fi. Smart TV. Private bathroom. Space to unpack, repack, and do a load of washing before you fly home.
Cruising as a family or a group of friends? Split into a Family Apartment or two, or take the Rooftop Apartment's two bedrooms as one base — everyone lands in the same place before you sail.
Everything you need for a night before boarding. Rain shower, air con, Smart TV, and a kitchenette. Cosy done right.
A proper queen bed, private rain shower, and a fully equipped kitchen with espresso machine. A good night's sleep before an early transfer to the wharf.
Stretch out before or after a long sailing. King bed, or twin singles on request, subject to availability. Rain shower, premium toiletries, full kitchen and a desk.
Handing the dog to family before you sail? Our only dog-friendly room. King bed, or twin singles on request, subject to availability. Full kitchen, espresso machine, private bathroom. Dog fees apply.
Room for three travelling together. King plus single, or 3 singles on request (select rooms only, subject to availability), full kitchen and espresso machine. Shared laundry facilities on site.
King and bunks, private bathroom, full kitchen, and a quiet courtyard outlook. A calm spot to get the family organised the night before you board.
Two bedrooms, a living and dining space, and one bathroom — plenty of room to properly spread out with a full set of cruise luggage. Full kitchen, rain shower, quiet courtyard outlook.
Our biggest apartment. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living and dining space, a large terrace, full kitchen and city views. Ideal for two couples cruising together who'd like their own space on either side of the sailing.
Driving to your cruise? There's no long-term parking at either terminal. Add undercover parking here, then take a taxi, rideshare, or the train to the ship. Limited spaces, booked via our website — you can add parking even if you booked your room somewhere else.
Ships that can pass under the Sydney Harbour Bridge generally berth at White Bay. Larger ships use the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Your cruise line will confirm which one you're sailing from, and the Port Authority of NSW publishes the harbour schedule.

Between the harbour and the airport, without being stuck in either.
The Urban Newtown sits on Enmore Road, a 4 minute walk from Newtown Station on the T2 and T3 lines. Both cruise terminals, the CBD and the airport are all a straightforward trip, and King Street's cafes, groceries and restaurants are right on the doorstep for the day before you sail.
There's also a café right in the building, open Tuesday to Sunday, with a discount for hotel guests, handy before an early transfer to the terminal.
