You couldn't pick a better base for eating out. The Urban Newtown sits between King Street and Enmore Road, two of inner Sydney's most loved strips for restaurants, cafes, bars and live music. Step out the door and you're in the middle of it.
A few local favourites within walking distance. Lu's and Rosso Antico Pizza Bar are both in our building; the rest are a short stroll along King Street, Enmore Road and Australia Street. Consider it a starting point, Newtown rewards a wander.

The easiest option of all is downstairs. Lu's Deli & Wine Bar and Rosso Antico Pizza Bar are both independent businesses that share our building, we don't run them, but we're glad they're there, and so are our guests.
Lu's is generally open Tuesday to Sunday for coffee and food, with the wine bar running Thursday to Saturday evenings. It's closed on Mondays. Rosso Antico serves wood-fired pizza and Italian plates most evenings. Hours can change for both, so check directly for the latest before you head down.

The Urban Newtown sits on Enmore Road, a short walk from Newtown Station on the T2 and T3 lines. The CBD, Central and Darling Harbour are all an easy train ride away, and the airport's a straightforward taxi or rideshare, about 20 minutes. King Street's cafes, groceries and restaurants are right on the doorstep, and Lu's is downstairs for the days you don't want to go far.
Lu's is right in the building too, open Tuesday to Sunday, with a discount for hotel guests — useful before an early train or after a long day.
